Kari Tuutti

Kari is Managing Partner of Horton International in Finland. He has over 25 years’ experience in global businesses across technology, industrial and financial services sectors. Before joining Horton, Kari was a member of Outokumpu’s Executive Leadership Team for 9 years with responsibilities ranging from line management responsibility for a €600+ million global business to functional roles such as communications and sustainability. Before joining Outokumpu, Kari spent 17 years with Nokia in various senior roles, starting from roles in CFO functions and then moving on to marketing and communications roles as a member of the Multimedia Business Group that drove Nokia’s smartphone and internet services businesses.

During his career, Kari has always taken s strategic approach to renew the business through customer centric innovation, high quality execution and digitalization. He is passionate about recruiting and building diverse high-performance teams and developing leadership practices that drive performance in multicultural environments. His functional expertise is exceptionally broad covering areas such as finance, sales, marketing, communications, sustainability, people development, supply chain management and lean manufacturing.

Kari has extensive international and multicultural management experience having managed large teams in countries such as the US, UK and Sweden as well as managed customer relationships in Europe, Asia and the US.

Kari holds a Master of Science in Economics from Helsinki School of Economics.
