Robin Billen - Chairman
Robin first became active in the executive search profession in the United Kingdom in the mid-1970s and, since then, has conducted searches in many countries for chief executives and other senior management roles in a variety of industry sectors. Based in Australia since 1982, he joined Horton International in Melbourne in 1993, became Regional Coordinator for the Asia Pacific Region in 2001 and was elected Chairman of the group in 2006. Bob Gilchrist - Regional Director, Americas
Bob is Managing Partner of Horton International LLC in the U.S. and is headquartered in the firm's West Hartford, Conn., office. Following a career in engineering, marketing and general management, Bob joined Horton International in 1994. His search experience is as a generalist and includes in-depth experience with industrial/ manufacturing clients in senior executive roles. Gary Woollacott - Regional Director, Asia Pacific
Gary is Managing Partner of Horton International in Thailand and Vietnam, based in Bangkok, and has been active in executive search since 1995. His search experience has encompassed numerous senior-level assignments across the broad spectrum of functional disciplines in most sectors, although he initially started in Banking and Financial Services. Jens Christian Andersen - Regional Director, EMEA
Jens is Managing Partner of Horton International Denmark and is located in Kolding. He has a background in sales and marketing, and in 1986 became a consultant in coaching, communication and human resource development. In 1994, he joined Bronée & Partners as an Executive Search Consultant and in 1999 this firm became Horton International. Jens joined the Board in 2010. Paul Butterworth - Regional Director, EMEA
Paul joined Horton International in the UK in 2005, and is a Managing Partner, based in London. With a strong background in Defence, Technology and the Maritime world, his experience has focused on a variety of senior-level assignments across these sectors. Prior to joining Horton International, Paul served for thirteen years as an officer in the Royal Navy, working at the highest levels of the international defence community, and enjoyed the command of two ships. Larry Brown - Shareholder Director
Larry is Managing Partner of Horton International LLC in the U.S. and is located in the firm's West Hartford, Conn., office. Larry began his professional career with United Technologies Corporation and has been active in executive search since 1994. His search experience has focused on a variety of senior level assignments across a broad range of functional disciplines in financial services, insurance and manufacturing companies. Charles Taylor - Shareholder Director
Charles is Managing Partner for Horton International UK, based in London. He has ten years experience in executive search, following 25 years working in engineering, IT and manufacturing, largely in the automotive sector. Before entering the recruitment industry, he was Managing Director of a number of publicly quoted companies and had considerable involvement in M&A activities.
